Alphabet

Sketchwise, I’ve had something of an obsessson with lettering going back to my days of architectural documentation.  This is the first time I’ve translated that into an oil painting, and also the first time I’ve made an oil painting by removing paint – the letters were wiped off the orange surface to reveal the blue below.

    I really like that Bill…you should do a series of graphics. People eat graphics up. And I think you should sell on etsy…there are a lot of fine arts people on there. For reals
